Notification size in Wireless heart monitor

Hi,

I am currently working on wireless heart monitor application. Currently the notification size is 20 bytes.Can anyone tell me if this 20 bytes is a fixed entity or can it be changed? If it can be changed how do i do so and what is the min and max values that i can us?

Hi,

I think that the maximum Notification size needs to be MTU-3 bytes. For CC254X the MTU size is 23 bytes. You are free to have any notification size below this level.

You need to modify that in your Attribute table first(Characteristic value) and then pass the characteristic value along with size using GATT_Notification call or in your heartRateMeasNotify call.

Hai,thankyou for your reply. I have another doubt,there is an led in our board, and its suppose to blink as per the heart rate, currently it is not enabled in our wireless heart monitor application. How do i initialise and get it to work?
