Hello Community!

Is the aforementioned app going to be available any time soon? I get the "app not available in the US Store" response.

Or did some other app replace this one - in some extend maybe?

Hey,
I now got the following information back from the App team; "Apple has recently pulled the app from app store because it contains the word “iBeacon” in the name. The app will be relaunched soon with more features and a more Apple friendly name"

We were using that BLE ibeacon loc from TI ,but now its not available for download, Can you suggest any alternative APP which will work as same.

Do you have any idea regarding the relaunch of BLE ibeacon loc from TI.

Hi Joakim!

It's still not so clear what SensorTag can do with iBeacons. The TI SensorTag pages (product info +wiki) are quite confusing.
I have an iBeacon license from Apple - is there a SensorTag FW/Dev SW especially for licensees? Or anything that would allow me to configure the SensorTag as an iBeacon?
For me, it looks like as if TI got bored with Apple's restrictive policy and gave up on that...

Please take the time to answer this, I bought 100 of these guys (the original, not the new one!) and can't really use them now. That's $2,5k...

Hello. You are talking about the cc2541 sensor tag correct? There is no additional hardware needed. Have you receive the SensorTag Beacon Software Package v1.0?

Yes, that's right, it's about the cc2541 ("original").
Where shall I get the SensorTag Beacon Software Package v1.0?
I haven't received anything...

Actually, it looks like everything can be accomplished with the simpleBLEBroadcaster project. You just have to follow Apple's advertising guidelines, etc.
