Hi All,

I am working on ANCS on cc2541.

I am able to get all the alerts into work, but now the issue is after disconnecting from APP it immediately gets connected in the bluetooth settings and device name does not show up in the APP.

if I terminate the APP , the problem still persists. Can anybody tell me why is this happening?

Hi Don,
Which APP are you referring to?
ANCS is running on internal GATT server in iOS, and the CC2541 is running GATT client. You don't need an iOS app to use ANCS.

That being said, not sure exactly why it's reconnecting, probably because you've paired(try deleting pairing info) with it before, and iOS is automatically connecting to it.

Hi Zahid,
Thanks for the reply. If you connect with any app it , while trying to disconnect it from that particular app it will automatically get reconnected in the iPhone Bluetooth settings. After this the user needs to forcefully forget the device from the bluetooth settings, inorder to make it advertising.Can you tell me how to stop it from reconnecting in the bluetooth settings
