How can I get the data as an input to CC2540 ?

Do I need to use any MCU or I can directly obtain the data using the services it self?

A 8051 MCU is embedded in CC2540 so it is no problem to get data by it.

Thanks a lot Chen for your response.

Actually I wanted to get the data of weight from a load cell and that data should be received by CC2540 SoC , and then the same has to be transferred to the mobile phone via application. Presently if you can guide me as to how to get the data ( weight ) to the CC2540 kit then it would be the great help for me.

What is your HW interface of load cell? UART, SPI, or I2C?

I am thinking of using ADC as of now, but any suggestion from your side is welcomed.

ADC is fine. CC2540 provides 8 ADC inputs and driver is ready for use.
