It is my understanding that the demo code for the BT-MSPAUDIOSOURCE and BT-MSP430AUDSINK leverage the default +14dBm output power.

What is the easiest method to adjust the output power?

Are there any plans to support dynamically adjustable output power when the transmitter is close ot a paired device?

Hi Robb,

The easiest way to adjust the output power is by using the Bluetooth Hardware Evaluation Tool. Please see: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC256x_Bluetooth_Hardware_Evaluation_Tool

Regarding the dynamic adjustable power, we do support power control as specified in the BT Spec.

Thanks for the feedback, I will try and test controlling the output power with the Bluetooth Hardware Evaluation Tool.

Regarding the dynamic adjustable power, is this already in the BT-MSPAUDSOURCE / BT-MSPAUDSINK code, or is there a compiler definition that needs to be set to apply this capability?

It is part of the BT FW. No compiler flags are required.
