CC2564 NC pin recommendation

A few No connect pins on the CC2564 are connected to GND in the CC256x layout guideline. NC_2, NC_3, NC_14 and NC_15 Figure 2. Please clarify why the NC pins are connected.

Hi,

Please see the inputs i have received internally.
These pins are NC at the chip level but they are used as GND on the reference design to isolate the RF trace. There is a note regarding this item on the checklist (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC256x_Schematic_and_Layout_Checklist).
