CC2540 Locking the Debug Flash Pages

Hello Team,

I have a customer who is trying to figure out how to properly lock the flash pages using the debug flash bit on the CC2540. They have tried writing 0x7FFFFFFF to different addresses with no success. I believe they are either writing to the wrong address or not properly restarting the device.

What's the correct address they need to write to?

Also, how should they reset the board? So far they did a watchdog reset, should they fully restart the board?

Any sample code will be useful as well.

Hello Dorian,
Are they trying to write from running code or through the debug interface?
The last page is implicitly locked when not in debug mode meaning that you can only set the flash page lock bits through the debug interface.
There are examples on how to use the WDT for CC2541 (easy to port to CC2540 as it is almost the same) here:

Regarding, the code examples, thank you for that file of examples but we were wondering if there are any code examples which specifically deal with locking the debug flash pages?

Hello Ralph,
As this can only be done trough the debug interface it is not possible to to this from code running in flash.
