CC26xx 4.1 -> 4.2 Upgrade Method

I have two questoins regarding the CC26xx:

1. What is the method for upgrading CC26xx BLE from BT4.1 to BT4.2? 

2. Does the CC26xx support simultaneous central + peripheral modes?

    Hi Lina,

    The TI BLE-Stack v2.0 running on the CC2640/CC2650 wireless MCU implements a BT4.1 Bluetooth Smart certified solution.
    This BLE-Stack & MCU combination also supports simultaneous central + peripheral roles as this feature is defined by the BT4.1 specification.

    Just to clarify, if I have a CC26xx chip with v4.1, how do I upgrade to v4.2? Is a new chip required?
