ubuntu support for the cc2540 usb dongle

Hi Sainath,

The CC2540 USB Dongle will accept our vendor specific HCI commands used by BTool sent over UART (USB) regardless of your operating system. However we do not have any SW tool like BTool for Linux.

You should also look in the TI BLE Vendor Specific HCI Guide which is included in the BLE stack download.

Hi Fredrik,

Thanks for giving me quick responses. I have followed our advises. Downloaded the python packages. By following the readme I have cross checked the /dev/ttyACM0 but while I am giving the "d" discover command its not showing any log messages. after that I am struck. can you help me out here,
