Load file to CC2640 without code composer studio

I am working on an application for CC2640. We are using the SmartRF06 board with the CC2650EM-71D installed. It is still early in the project, but I have some code I would like to send to someone to test. This person doesn't have code composer.

Is it possible to load code to the dev board via a utility without installing code composer? Or is it best to just download and install CCS to load the .out or .hex file?

You can use flash programmer 2 to download hex file to CC26XX.

Thanks YiKai. Note that it may be easier to program the app and stack, then use FlashProgrammer 2 to read back the combined .bin. This way you don' have to combine the app and stack images yourself.

Hy.
Isn't there a more elegant way to combine a "All-In-One" hexfile, that contains stack and application? How about just concatenating the two hex files in a new text file?
How about
type MyProject\FlashROM\MyProject.hex MyProjectStack\FlashRom\MyProjectStack.hex > allinoneimage.hex
Then we'd only need to get rid of the end-of-file record of the first file. But a simple tool should do...

Sure if you want you can use the intelhex python library. There is an example of this in the OAD guide.

As a follow up of the original question:

Which debugger / JTAG interface can I use to upload the hex file?

Our hardware designer has a Keil uLink ARM debugger. Is there any way he could use this to flash the CC26xx?

Hy,

actually, I have never tried. In the meantime we have all sorts of XDS100 debuugers, so we never had the need of using the existing uLink debugger. The XDS100v3 is quite cheap and works well. You can probably also use the TI Devpack. The main difference is, that it has no level shifters, so your hardware needs to have the same power supply as the devpack.
