How to pair passkey ble cc2540 with android 5.0 ?

Hi

I have a problem. I use BLE of CC2540 stack 1.3 to connect with android use mode slave. pairMode = GAPBOND_PAIRING_MODE_WAIT_FOR_REQ bc i want to phone pair passkey with cc2540.

Android 4.4 is ok, it show up one textbox to enter passkey. If wrong passkey, textbox show again to retype passkey. And i can write command successful to control. But android 5.0 not show texbox, i think key auto generate, cc2540 pair ok but i can't wirite command to control board cc2540

where is problem ?  on phone or on cc2540 ? who can help me? Thank very much.

    Hello Hai,

    This appears to be a known issue on some Android 5.0 implementations. This issue has been discussed on this forum and a more lively discussion on the Google / Android forums. Searching for "Android 5 passkey issue" should turn up some results. Some users have reported it has been fixed in later 5.x updates.

    Does that mean later android 5.0 version can fixed this issue but earlier android 5.0 cannot support the passkey.
    TI will not solve this issue on earlier android 5.0 so customer can only use later android 5.0?

    Hello Jeffrey,

    This issue is with Android, not TI, so the fix must come from Android. Based on observation, this issue appears to be fixed in most Android 5.1+ implementations. I did confirm that passkey pairing is proper on Moto E 2nd Gen using 5.1 whereas other posters indicated this did not work on the original 5.0.x SW for this handset.
