CC2540 doesn't get oscillation wave

Hi,

I have CC2540 and board was working okay yesterday. And today it doesn't work.

In the debug session, using simpleBLEPeripheral, once I click step over on HAL_BOARD_INIT(); it goes nowhere and doesn't respond. I set breakpoint in InitBoard( OB_COLD); but it doesn't get there. So I checked the oscillator and found it behaves like below.

Can anyone help me to see what's wrong with my board? I'd appreciate it if you could tell me which pin I should look or which part of board I need to check.

Hi Brian,

You should measure with a proper oscilloscope to figure out what is going on. Right now you are just measuring some sort of noise.

Hi Fredrik,

That's all I can get. I turned on the board around 3ms. I got some noise after that, and they remained same value forever. Is there any other port I can check?

Hi Brian,

You can check the status bit for the 32 MHz oscillator in CLKCONSTA. It will not assert before the oscillator is stable. Refer to the user guide for details.
