Hi Team,

I am studying CC2650STK(SensorTag).
It seems CC2650STK supports "magnetic sensor" as the following site.

10 sensors including support for light, digital microphone, magnetic sensor, humidity, pressure, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, object temperature, and ambient temperature

I found magnetometer is supported by MPU-9250
Which device supports magnetic sensor?
I confirmed the schematic of CC2650STK but couldn't find it.

The Reed switch is the magnetic sensor.

I would like to ask additional questions.

1)
Could you tell me the background of putting the reed switch in CC2650 sensor tag?
How to use it and what circumstances does TI assume?

2)
I think the function of "reed switch" is similar to hall sensor.
Why does TI select reed switch in spite of TI has hall sensor?
Is it concern of power consumption?

1) For example window/door sensors
2) I would have to assume power consumption is key here

The sensor tag is meant for debugging, not an end application. The idea is to get many sensors on the same kit used for developping all kinds of applications. Thus how you want to use and integrate the sensors is to you:)
