about capability of cc2541 central using hosttestrelease

Dear Sir,

Ask a question, how many cc2541(peripheral) can cc2541 central using hosttestrelease connect to ?

I do a test, and I get a result that cc2541 central(hosttestrelease) can only connect to 3 cc2541 peripheral devcies.

What is the answer from TI ?

Hi Yushu,

CC254x as a Central can support up to 3 active connections to Peripheral devices. With CC2640, you can support up to 8.

Dear Sir,
I have checked out cc2640.
I know now cc2640 is the last ble mcu released at 2015.
Capability of cc2640 is much greater than cc2540.

For your reference, CC2640 can connect up to 8 slave BLE devices.
