SmartRF06EB - current measurement on test point TP11 error: no signal

Hi,

We are using SmartRF06EB with CC2650EM-71D 1.2 module. Trying to measure current consumption in Bt advertising mode on TP11 give us no result. Advertising is ok, but there is no any signal on TP11. According to documentation (SmartRF06_Guide.pdf - 6.12) there should be no pre-request with some board setting. We have 2 same boards and same result. Any advice how we can do measurements?

I suggest you using scope to check TP11 again.

I find that there is no INA216 on SmartRF06EB with rev:1.2.2 but I can see INA216 on SmartRF06EB with rev:1.2.1. So, I can use TP11 the measure current consumption on SmartRF06EB with rev:1.2.1 but it would fail on SmartRF06EB with rev:1.2.2. If you use SmartRF06EB with rev:1.2.2, I think this is the problem.
