Hi,

It seems CC2650 now can work as Peripheral and central simultaneously. I wonder if CC2541 can work as  Peripheral, central and Observer at same time? Someone told me that this can be achieved when stack for CC2541 is updated in which BLE 4.1 is supported. Is that true and any schedule for that stack?

MultiRole support (simultaneous) is available on the CC2640. There have been no announcements about adding this functionality or BT4.1 support to CC254x. If these features are required, I suggest looking at the CC2640 offering.

As far as my concern, the multi-role project on CC2650 was modified from the project of central. Do you think it is practical for an engineer to generate a customerized project which supports multi-role functionality on CC2541? Are there any difficulties or hardware limitations for CC2541?
