CC2540 Error "The Attribute Handle Given Was Not Valid On This Server."

Hi everyone,

I'm a begginer in BLE world. I'm trying to create a custom profile for the CC2540 following this guide and adapting to CC2540 Keyfob http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Tutorial:_How_to_Create_a_Custom_Bluetooth_Smart_Embedded_Application_with_the_CC2650DK#Tutorial_Step_3:_Compile.2C_Download_and_Debug_Project

When I try to read the characterisitc value (With Read permissions) I get the error: "The Attribute Handle Given Was Not Valid On This Server." Exactly when I try to read the attribute with handle 0x0025:

Hello Jose,

Welcome to BLE! Although the example is adapted for CC2640, you can add a custom service to CC2540. Using your CC Debugger, can you set a breakpoint on your service's ReadAttrCB and follow the code? This would be a good starting point for debugging.

Thank you JXS! I have been able to detect the failure with your instructions, and I think that they are useful for future errors.

If it is for someone's help, the error was I had not defined 'GATT_TI_UUID_128_BIT' in the preprocesor of the compiler and the 'utilExtractUuid16' function which is added in the CC2640 custom profile tutorial needs that instruction for working with 128 bits UUID.
