HFRE_Setup_Audio_Connection - SCO Interval Rejected

On some devices, I am unable to get an audio channel established. The HFRE audio connection confirmation comes back with unknown error, and then I get an HCI synchronous connection complete event with status 0x08 SCO interval rejected. Where would I go to adjust the SCO interval so that the HFRE audio connection succeeds?

  • Hi,

status = 0x08 indicates connection timeout. Looks to me that the remote device is not accepting the SCO connection. Do you have an SLC with the remote device?

Do you have sniffer logs that you can share?

    Regards,
    Gigi Joseph.
  • Oops, I got my status values mixed up (I should really have a function print the human readable values instead of the numbers). It is actually 0x1C SCO Interval Rejected, I was looking at the wrong connection message (my app was also calling to another device inadvertently, which was not turned on).

I do have an SLC with the device in question--it accepts other HFRE commands.

I will grab a sniff soon... can you read Frontline BPA500 logs?

  • Yes, please share the air sniffer logs..

    Regards,
    Gigi Joseph.
