Hy,

In e2e.ti.com/.../421520 you desribe how to port to the new TI RTOS version. But there are some open issues:

"CCS
Placeholder text" -> Will there be a detailed description on how to integrate the new Version with CCS projects?

Also you state: "BLE-stack 2.0.0 has not been tested or certified with this [..] but it can be used as an intermediate step until BLE-stack 2.1 is released" When can we expect the BLE-stack 2.1? Will that be the "2.1 installer release in July" mentioned in https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/f/538/t/415044

So would it be good to wait until July and everything (BLE Stack 2.1, TI RTOS 2.13, OAD with external ROM) will be fine? That would be great!

Hi Harald,

I am going to update the CCS chapter as well but have not found time yet.

The BLE stack 2.1 in July will be released with and tested with either the 2.13.00.06 release (most likely) or the release thereafter if it is ready in time so you can very well wait until that one if you have no issues in your current development phase.

Hi svend,
As you mentioned they are releasing BLE Stack 2.1 ion July 17, where we can find the software related updates. Here in e2e do we have separate forum or blog which will provides all the information regarding Stack & TI Rtos versions which are available.

Thanks for the information. As you mentioned in the above is BLE Stack 2.1 was releasing by July 17 or still it may take time. DO you have any plan to release of BLESTACK 2.1 in the specific date.

- Is there a full list of planned changes of ble stack 2.1?
- Is there a new release date?

There will not be a complete list of changes. There will be a summary in the release notes and a porting wiki added.

2.1 should be live on www.ti.com/blestack early next week.

Hy,

I noticed that the 2.1 stack is available. Cool.

What is the recommended way of proceeding, I have not found a "porting 2.0 to 2.1" guide: Just install it on the same PC that I have worked with so far? Will CCS recognize the new stack automatically? Will I be able to compile my previous versions, too? I probably need that for test and trace reasons. Do I need to adjust my current projects to run with stack 2.1?

Or would it be better to use a new PC and start from scratch?

Still, there is no documentation of watchdog in the document "SWRU393_CC2640_BLE_Software_Developer's_Guide.pdf". Is it not implemented or just not documented?
