Can individual SmartRF05 Evaluation Boards be bought?

Hello,

I have Four CC2540 evaluation modules but could arrange for only two SmatRF05 evaluation boards. Can I purchase another two such boards, without having to buy the entire development kit? If yes, then where and how?

If no, then what are the alternatives for me to put those other two evaluation modules to use? Can I use some other boards from TI or any third party, which are compatible to work with CC2540 evaluation modules?

Hi Manan,

A TI Launchpad + the adapter booster packs for the EVM should get you quite far if you don't need to program them from the board (www.ti.com/.../boost-ccemadapter)

In addition, does anyone of you have any idea whether "Transceiver Evaluation Board SmartRF TrxEB PCB rev 1.7" is compatible to work with CC2540 evaluation modules or not?

The one in the link should be compatible to work with CC2540. However, I don't buy it and test so I can not guarantee anything.

Transceiver Evaluation Board SmartRF TrxEB PCB rev 1.7 supposes to work with TI transceier chip. I don't see it compatible to work with CC2540 in its user manual.
