DevPack Debugger not working

I just received my devpack debugger but I can't get CCS to connect and debug the board. I keep getting Error -260. I see the green LED light when I plug in the USB but no device shows up on my PC. I've tried putting a new battery in the sensor tag but still no luck. I've also tried to update the firmware using the instructions and xdsdfu but it can't connect to the devpack either.

1. Make sure you have the latest version of CCS installed

2. Make sure the XDS110 debugger is selected and not XDS100. The CC2650 on the SensorTag should now be accessible from the debugger.

Hello Erik,
In addition to YK's suggestions, make sure you updated both the App & Stack projects to use XDS110 - the default debugger is XDS100.
It may be good to confirm compatibility by using Flash Programmer 2 v1.6.x to verify the DevPack Debugger can be detected by your PC. Insert the battery into the STK, then attach USB to the Debugger. With CCS closed, hit Refresh in Flash Programmer 2. You should see the XDS110 show up in the list of devices.

Hi JXS,

I tried to find the device in Flash Programmer 2 and it doesn't show up. I put in a new CR2032 battery and still no luck. I think it may be broken. Can you send me a replacement?

Can you check the version of your flash programmer 2? Is the version 1.6.x?

Hi Erik,

I'm sorry that it's not working for you. I know you mentioned that nothing shows up, but do you see the Debugger go into "Firmware Upgrade Mode" in the Device Manager?

Does the green LED light up when you plug it into USB without any SensorTag attached to it?
Can you try other USB ports as well in case Windows has disabled the one you are currently using (can happen in case of excessive current being drawn)?

Yes, the LED lights up without a sensortag attached. I also tried connecting to another PC and the device still does not show up in Flash Programmer 2 v1.6.1

After discussing with our tools team this seems to be a hardware failure since it dos not show up when tested on several PC's.

I just received too (rev 1.3.0, newark.com) and have same problem. When I plug in, Green led light, but my computer doesn't see any new attached usb devices.
Erik, you do refund and new one working?
