CC2640 power consumption

Hi,
Another doubt I have is regarding the consumption in standby. In datasheet talks which is approximately 1uA with the Sensor Controller available. However, I was informed that the Sensor controller has 500uA consumption to keep active AUX_PD + 8uA / MHz.

What would Sensor Controller available?

Hello. The data sheet should be accurate. Where are you getting these other numbers? Note that you have to take into account your full system behavior in order to get accurate power numbers. See the "measuring power consumpion" app note: www.ti.com/.../swra478

When the full system is in Standby the current draw is around 1uA.
In this mode the Sensor Controller can still wake up periodically on the RTC and perform tasks (we are also working on adding IO wakeup for the SC). While the Sensor Controller is active running at 24Mhz you will typically see a current level of around 700uA but most tasks run for a very short period before you are back to the 1uA current level again.

These two numbers can be a bit confusing, I agree.

When the CPU is running you have a minimum baseline current you can achieve. If you were to run at 1MHz the introduction number does not make sense since the baseline current is not included.
If you run the CPU at 48MHz (which all our software and drivers use) you will see the numbers become the same.
