CC2650STK simple instructions for cloud configuration by NodeRed needed

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650STK

I participated to your interesting Sensor Tag webinar and I was impressed how easy it is to make working prototypes by NodeRed block editor tool.

Now I am trying the same myself with my own CC2650STK node and Huawei Honor / Android 4.4 smartphone. It is not so easy.

It is simple and easy as far as reading the sensors on the smartphone display and also in the IBM cloud service

BUT finding how to use the NodeRed block editor in the cloud is a difficult task. I have registered to IBM bluemix, but it is so huge barrel of tools, that I did not find how to use NodeRed from there.

In the presentation it was just a click to open the editor, but there is obviously some work needed before that click.

MY REQUEST

Would you dear gurus please make available simple instructions for fast prototyping with these cloud tools for non-programming-oriented people, as I am?

Also this instructions should have a list of sensors, their measuring scales, where they are located in the sensor tag, which are sensing directions etc. simple basic items as switch sequences. They can mostly be found scattered through the presentation.

Kind regards

John

p.s. The Android application looks very simple and buggy compared to that ipad application shown in the presentation. Not all the sensors work at all. Some sensors work every now and then and sometimes it needs booting the whole phone in order to get the application running again.

Is this normal behavior? This is not a big issue during prototyping phase, but should not happen in the end product.
