Folded dipole antenna for CC2640?

Is the folded dipole antenna shown in swra118, DN004, for the CC2500 also a sensible choice for use with the CC2640?

If this is unknown, are there plans to explore that issue and/or design a version for the CC2640??

    No, the optimal load for the CC2640 is different for the the CC2500, so I would not recommend using this antenna for the CC2640 as is. As far as I know, we do not have any plans for a differential antenna for the CC26xx as it is hard to get a general good performance that do not depend on pcb size, plastic cover etc. For small design, I would recommend using a single-ended design or a chip balun with a single-ended antenna.
