1) What is roadmap for bluetooth 4.2 

2) Will it be s/w up-gradable to CC2650

3) If not , will it have same footprint as of CC2650 so that same PCB can be used.

    TI won't reveal roadmap on public forum. If you need these information, I would suggest you contact local TI representative.

    Q: Does CC2640 Support BT4.2 or “BLE Mesh”

    The CC2640 & BLE-Stack v2.0 supports BT4.1. At this time, TI has not made any announcements regarding CC2640 support or capability of BT specifications beyond BT4.1. Please be sure to subscribe to the myTI newsletter to receive the latest product offerings from TI.

    Currently a BT SIG group is working towards defining a BLE Mesh standard, but as of now there is no specification with published BLE Mesh support. Therefore, all instances of “BLE Mesh” are custom / vendor specific implementations. You could define a custom BLE mesh network with CC2640 using Advertising & Scanning, for example.

    As YK states, future product offerings are not discussed on E2E forums; please contact your TI Representative for more details.
