How to use the DEV PAK Debug feature with CCS?

I am using the CC2560STK and I got the DEV PAK. I managed to flash HEX files to the sensor tag using the flash programmer 2.

But I need to debug the my code using the DEV PAK. Unfortunately there is no instructions on that anywhere!!

Does anyone know how to do this?

1. Make sure you have the latest version of CCS installed (v6.1.0).
2. Make sure the XDS110 debugger is selected and not XDS100. The CC2650 on the SensorTag should now be accessible from the debugger.

Any ideas on how to use the UART through the usb? I can already see on my windows devices a com port created for UART. I opened a serial emulator at that port, but could not see anything!!

If you refer to CC2650STK schematic, it use DP5 as UART_TX and DP4 as UART_RX. You have to send some data from CC2650STK so you can see output on the COM port.

Also, I think you might need to swap UART RX/TX in the board file in the current SW version to make it work.
