Are the internal resistors on the CC2541 GPIO's pins still enabled when the pin is configured as an output or are they only enabled when the GPIO is configured as an input?

As I know, they are enable when IO pins are configured to input.

YK,

What about when the pins are configured as output? My concern is if there will be wasted power in a pin if a GPIO is configured as an Output / Driven low, but also has internal pull still enabled?

When it is configured to GPO, this is related to the circuit it is connected. If the pin output low and it connects to GND, it won't drain current.

Hi Peter,

Pull- is only enabled when the pin is configured as input.
