Just bought the CC2650 Sensor Tag Development Kit and the dev pack jtag.

I installed Code Composer Studio.

I am quite new in Ti products.

I would like to try some look at the code of my Sensor Tag and maybe bring some changes but before doing this I would like to have the source code to be able to reload it if I break it.

Cannot find it on TI web site. Any clues where to find it.

I found an exe file to download, this sounds to install BTool which I do not think is what I am looking for.

Someone has some clues on what to do to get teh source code?

To download or debug CC2650STK in CCS, you might need to refer to processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC13xx_CC26xx_Tools_Overview.

That is the problem. BLE_Stack is an .exe file and this install BTools which seems to be a tools that attach to the com port. Did not understand what it is for?

BTool is a PC Application that allows a user to form a connection between two BLE devices. You can refer to processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Category:KeyFobDemo

Chen this sounds closer to what I am looking for. But still did not find the code of my cc2650 to load into my CCS with my small CC devpack debugger.
I like to have this source, first to look at it and to be able to reload it in case I load other software into my SensorTag.
Does this make sense? Or the SensorTag should not be programmed? Is this copyright?
Why is it so difficult to find this?

Ok but my PC already has a BTLE why would I use another communication dongle thru my com port? Is it possible to run BTools using my PC Bluetooth?

To use CCS to download and debug SensorTag, you can refer to section 2.5.3 in SWRU393_CC2640_BLE_Software_Developer's_Guide.pdf which is located in C:\ti\simplelink\ble_cc26xx_2_00_00_42893\Documents after you install BLE-STACK-2.

BTool only work with TI BLE Vendor Specific HCI commands. You have to use HostTest App running on CC2650/2640 to communicate with Btool.

I am trying to get started using a CC2650EM with an RF06 board. the evalutation kit came with two boards, so I figure one acts as a transmitter and the other as a receiver. I too am looking for source code to get me started (my goal is just to familiarize myself by getting one board to light up the LED's of the other board with the press of a button on the first board). I understand BLE is for Bluetooth, is there a resource for using the 802.15.4 aspect (ZigBee)?

You can download Z-Stack Home 1.2.2 from http://www.ti.com/tool/z-stack. There are Zigbee examples for CC2650 in it.
