CC2640 GPIO Internal Resistance

All,

Customer doing led drive design as below, the external res is very small, only 100Ω, when CC2640 output as low, using multimeter measuring that the GPIO voltage is near 1V.

When disconnected R33, GPIO low output is 0 vlotage.

So, I want to ask the internal resistance of GPIO of CC2640.

    Hi Michael,

    All IO pins have current limits (due to the internal resistance in the output buffer). For the CC2640. this limit is 4 mA for most IOs and 8 mA for some (refer to the Technical Reference Manual or the datasheet for details). With the setup you have I guess you are violating this limit.
