Actually Sensortag CC2650STK will not pair in Windows 8+ (see related threads).

I plan to write some Windows Store Apps for the SensorTag CC2650STK, but I can't connect to them (I have built-in Bluetooth 4.0 LE).

BTW works fine with Linux (bluez)

Hello,

The code change documented in the aforementioned E2E posts will be included in the next BLE Stack SDK release this summer.
Note that Pairing won't be supported, but the STK will properly send the "Pairing Not Supported" message to the Windows host/Central.

So with the code change Windows will accept the STK ?
Or another Bluetooth Stack is needed ?

If the 8.1 device doesn't require pairing (there's no reason why it should), then it should work.

With new FW (June 2015) it will pair with windows 8+ ;)
