Timer 3 calculation

Hi Everyone,

I am having problem with timer calculation.Using timer 3 in Free running mode,Tickspd is 250KHz and prescaler is 128.

F = 250000/128  =1953.125

t = 1/1953.125 =0.000512 sec

Count value 00-FF = 256

SO (t x Count value) = 256*0.000512 = 0.131072  = 131ms

but i am getting interrupt for every 141ms.Is my calculation are correct ? if no means how to find out timings.
