does TI have libraries to support Eddystone on the firmware side of BLE?

Hello,

No libs have been provided/announced by TI, but you can refer to some partners who have developed such support on CC2640:
money.cnn.com/.../DA56807.htm

For beaconing, I would recommend reviewing the Bluetooth Smart Beacons App Note which is available on the TI BLE Wiki.

Are you aware of anything in the near future? We would like to develop the firmware but any help that TI can provide will help speed up development.

Hello Neel,

Based on the published Eddystone protocol specification: github.com/.../protocol-specification.md

The good news: no additional libs are needed! You can construct the Eddystone-defined 31-byte Advertising payload using the SimpleBLEBroadcaster or SimpleBLEPeripheral (PLUS_BROADCASTER) example projects in the SDK.

This should be sufficient to get your firmware development rolling, but do let us know if you have additional suggestions.
