Hi everyone,

I have some BLE MOD, I want to design a PCB with antenna but I have some question as below,

1. When we use balun circuit to connect to antenna?

2. Can I directly connect to IFA antenna without using anything else part, will it work?

Hi,

There is no need to connect a balun since it provides a singled-ended termination. You can connect any antenna directly or thru a matching circuit if needed. The RF termination of the module is 50ohms.

Hi Miguel,
I have no experience with antenna for BLE or Wifi, can you suggest some docs that I can research and learn how to use and clear with that problem (for a newbie).
