Hi buddy,

For power saving requirement, I want my cc2541 based device can

1. work in Broadcaster role( unconnectable), with in 9:00 ~ 23:00;

2. wokr in Peripheral role ( connectable ), with in 23:01~ 8:59 next day;

Is there any BLE stack API can change Device Role to Peripheral / BroadCaster at runtime, with [peripheralBroadcaster.c]?

Hi,

There is really no difference between these roles. The difference comes from how you set up the advertising (connectable or not).

You do this (on a peripheral sample app for example) by calling GAPRole_SetParameter(GAPROLE_ADV_NONCONN_ENABLED, sizeof(uint8), &someUint8WithValueEqualTrue); Note that you must first disable connectable advertising when doing this.
