CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG Com Port Problem on Windows

Hello

Is anyone else having problems with the com ports and the CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG?  Anyone know of a solution?

  1. Disconnect the CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG from the USB cable while a software application still has the com port opened.
  2. Reconnect the CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG to the USB cable

The com port ends up in a state:

  1. Where no data shows up in the software application that has the com port opened.
  2. If you close the port in the application and try and reopen it you get an error that the port doesn't exist.
  3. You have to reboot to be able to use the com port again.

I am using CCS 6.1.00104 and the have the 1.6 XDS110 drivers loaded on Windows 7 64 bit.
