Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2564, AES-128, CC2540, MSP430F5529
Hi,
I have a customer who is looking to use the CC2564 in his design. He has a few questions about the security protocols of the device.
First of all, I understand that the LE mode has AES-128 as a mandatory part of the SMP layer. What capabilities are available for BT-classis/EDR?
What encryption as part of the SSP (Simple Secure Protocol) is available in the CC2564 that he can utilize. Or does have to implement encryption in application firmware and use BT pairing (authentication) only?
Finally, he has a CC2564 Evaluation Module (CC2564XQFNEM) with the MSP430F5529 development kit (MSP-EXP430F5529). He was not able to find an API or User guide similar to the CC2540 (Vendor specific API or command set) on how to communicate with the CC2564.
Do you know if there is such a document and where I might be able to find it?
