cc2540 RF related issue.

Hi All,

I have a working proto board in which I have downloaded and tested a custom code.

Now I changed the form factor of PCB and have kept all components and connections same. However I changed following in RF section:

I have used Johanson make BALUN FILTER 2450BM15A0002 and to it's unbalanced port [ Pin No. 1] I have connected the antenna as shown in following picture.

Please advise where I need to correct so that connection happens.

In Flash programmer I am able to see the code download done correctly. I can read the IEEE address of the device.

We recommend having a few matching components between the balun and the antenna. Apart from that it sounds ok.

I see that the unbalanced port and ground have 0 ohm resistance in them, i.e they are shorted once I solder the balun.

On bare PCB, these are open.

Is this correct that the unbalanced port and ground have 0 ohm resistance in them after the balun is soldered?
