Hi,

I have just started to use CC2541 DK- Mini and also IAR as well.I want to do LED application by using Keyfob and CC Debugger.

For example: If i press the right button red led will be blinked

If i press the left button green led will be blinked and after the 5 seconds delay the green led will be turn off.

I really need help as a very basic ones to learn how to use and code cc2541. By the way i could not find any video or PDF for begineers. I found some sample application but i could not observe them on my debugger. So your advice would be great for me.

Hi Zafer,

If you are looking at Keyfobdemo project, please see keyfobapp_HandleKeys() in keyfobdemo.c. That is the function to process key events. Also, see the usages of HalLedSet() in the same source file. osal_start_timerEx() is also needed to implement what you want. Please see TI BLE Software Developer's Guide. You will find some explanation about osal_start_timerEx() there.

Hi Cetri,

Thank you very much for your answer. But i have a problem to compile KeyFobDemo(You can see the picture below).

And i downloaded another example about "io" it works yes, but it's just to see the blinking the led. There is not any keypress function.

I have experience about PIC programming, but IAR seems complicated to me because there are so many files on the left and i do not exactly know what i need to do.

Hi Zafer,

I suppose you are using BLE-Stack 1.4.1. Am I right? Then, you need to use IAR v9.10.3 as described in the README.txt of the installation. Can you please check if you have the right setup?

Hi Cetri,

Yes i use BLE-Stack 1.4.1. But my IAR version is 9202. I also have 9.10.1.
I could not find 9.10.3 so Could i use any of my workbrench or do i have to download 9.10.3 if yes could you share with me the please.

Hi Zafer,

For options, the only difference between yours and the default settings I can observe is 'Retain unchanged pages' in 'Download' tab. By default it is 'Erase flash'. However, I don't think that's the reason you got those error messages at compile time. There maybe some issues in ioCC2541.h located in 8051/inc folder in the IAR tool installation, but I'm not sure. Can you please contact IAR to get the right version tool?

I think the problem is that you shouldn't put those P1DIR, P1SEL, and P1 statements in hal_led.h. Those statements should be put in C file.
