On-chip OAD with CCS

Hi,

  I have a CC2640-based board with no off-chip flash available.  I need the ability to perform OAD.  I'm reading the BLE OAD User's Guide, which says that I need to build w/ IAR tools to enable OAD with on-chip flash.  Is this still the case?  If so, is there a plan for CCS to support this feature.  Is there any other option to consider besides spending many $$'s for IAR?
