CC2650 not being detected on Device Manager

Yes, I have read through the SmartRF06EB user guide. But it seems I cannot see TexasIntruments XDS100v3 on device manager. I have installed the SmartRF studio but still the problem prevails

Hi Sid,

Have you tried to detect the XDS using one of the CCS tool? These can be found by opening a windows cmd prompt and navigating to C:\ti\ccs_base\common\uscif for the default CCS install location. Run the xds100serial program to see if your debugger is detected.

If not, can you verify that you board is being powered properly? I.e. the source switch set to USB

I tried the way you suggested to go on command prompt to run xds100serial program. but i cannot find it . And yes i have powered the board correctly with source selected as USB.

What version of CCS are you using? This tool should be included in v6.1. Regarding your last point, the linux convention of running programs from windows cmd doesn't work. Instead of ./, execute the program by typing "xds100serial.exe". If this tool cannot enumerate your debugger, you will need to look into your driver settings.

I am using CCS v6.1. I tried executing it but i guess thing it doesn't exists there.

how could I solve it?

Can you attach a screenshot of the contents of this folder. (C:\TI\ccs_base\common\uscif) These files are included in the CCS install. In the mean time, can you attempt another USB port? Are all the jumpers attached to P408 on your board?

There is no uscif folder present there and i tried a different port but it still doesn't works
