Hi there,

we have to read just the UID of RFID Type 4 Tags. So the NFC communication is very limited

In the data sheet of the TRF7963A it says: 'current reference firmware for ISO14443A/B (with host interface) is approximately 8KB, using 1-KB RAM.'

Will this fit with the CC2640 firmware, even not assuming that most RTOS parts are shared ?

I think there is enough flash and ram for programming TRF7963A application.

With the base SimpleBLEPeripheral application on BLE 2.1, you have 40+ kB free for application use, assuming you disable the LCD on the SmarRF06 board. RAM wise, it's ok as well.

You can download the SDK, build the projects as per the SW Dev Guide (SWRU393) and inspect the map files.
