I would like to know how TI Calculate the RSSI of one of the 3 Broadcast Channels ...from a Radio perspective and how that can be related to a scanned device?
At the HCI Level/Physical level the magnitude is calculated based on Inpahse and Quadrature signals i.e sqrt(I^2 +Q^2) and the AGC and other Gain settings let one to figure out the amplitude of a Tone at the Receiver Input but I would like that to relate that calculation of RSSI to an individual device broadcasting on one of the 3 channels (37,38,39) . How can I relate the RSSI of an individual device at the application layer to the RSSI being reported from the HCI layer... How does TI differentiate devices broadcasting and get individual RSSIs for each one in broadcast mode?
