Basically,during the initial pairing,sometimes the broadcast coming in from bluetooth module doesn't contain any name(its just blank).This delays the pairing/connection.Eventually,bluetooth starts broadcasting with the name and android app gets paired and connected.I am not facing this issue with the ios app and bluetooth works smoothly.
I am not able to understand where the problem lies -cc2540 or android?
