Hi,

May I know when is the MSP430BT5190 available? Can I request for samples to try it out now?

Where can I download the MSP430+CC2560 Software Development Kit (SDK)?

I tried contacting Panasonic for the PAN1315 but did not receive any reply from them at all. Are they not ready yet like the MSP430BT5190?

 

Please advise. Thanks.

    MSP430BT5190 device is expected to be orderable off the TI product page by end of May (you can search the part number on www.ti.com to get to this page).  Delivery is expected in early 3Q/July timeframe.

    In the mean time you can order EZ430-RF2560 evaluation kit - http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/ez430-rf2560.html.  This kit will have the MSP430BT5190 on the kit and the SDK pre-flashed on the target board.   This kit is intended mainly for evaluation and some development.

    The SDK is expected be available in June timeframe when customers start receiving kits.  The SDK will be accessable through the Wiki - http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/MSP430_Bluetooth_Platform

    For Panasonic, you can submit a request through the www.panasonic.com/ti page.  There is a red button on that page for information. 

    Panasonic prefers that orders under 10K be handled through distribution. However, if a customer has a promising business plan and the ability to grow, Panasonic will consider quoting <10K units.

    The PAN1315 will be available from Panasonic’s distribution partners – Arrow, Avnet and DigiKey – in May. Pricing is determined by the distributors. Panasonic does not set nor recommend distribution pricing.
