I am planning to use the Texas Instruments ADC ADS1115. The ADS1115 supports I2C high speed mode. I was wondering if the CC2640 can be configured to communicate with it at that speed. This will help with clearing the already busy I2C bus that we are having. Is there a way for this to work?

I really don't want to go with SPI.

Hi Sean,

Yes, I understand from the manual that those are the only transmission speeds indicated for I2C but the SPI and UART protocols run at a much faster rate. I am just wondering if there is a possible work around.

Can the high speed be implemented using the Synchronous Serial Interface library?
