CC2540 integrated temperature sensor sensitivity

Hi,

i am using the integrated analog temperature sensor of the cc2540, and am wondering why the sensitivity is lower than expected. the datasheet advertises 4.5 12bit ADC ticks per degree C temperature change. my measurments indicate a sensitivity of closer to 0.5 ticks per C. what is wrong?

the problem is solved. i did not set the ATEST =0x01 and TR0 |= 0x01 to enable and connect the internal temperature sensor to the ADC. the temperature sensor now works as expected. sorry for my first post.

Hi,

The datasheet table on page 7 states 4.5 mV per degree C, not sure I understand your calculation. There are several threads on this topic on the e2e and also info in chapter 12 in the user guide.
