Hi,
Is there any sample project to read temperature using integrated sensor in CC2650? Thermometer example is using button press as temparature input

You can try to use APIs in aon_batmon.h and aon_batmon.c under C:\ti\tirtos_simplelink_2_13_00_06\products\cc26xxware_2_21_01_15600\driverlib.

Hi,
when i add that function like this
while (1) {

TemperatureSensor = AONBatMonTemperatureGetDegC();

printf("%d\n", TemperatureSensor);

}
i get a constant value 25. dont understand why.

when i change like this
if(AONBatMonNewBatteryMeasureReady()==1)
{
TemperatureSensor = AONBatMonTemperatureGetDegC();
printf("%d\n", TemperatureSensor);
}
readings are

And when i use Enable . Disable functions like
AONBatMonEnable();

TemperatureSensor = AONBatMonTemperatureGetDegC();
printf("%d\n", TemperatureSensor);

AONBatMonDisable();

My reading will always be 10
why?

So, you can get temperature from internal temperature sensor. What's your problem?

Hi,
i have set room temaprature to 30C, still my reading is 25C. It should read somethng more than 30C right(due to internal heating)?

and my second question is , when i try to turn on and off this sensor like:
while(1){
AONBatMonEnable();
TemperatureSensor = AONBatMonTemperatureGetDegC();
printf("%d\n", TemperatureSensor);

AONBatMonDisable();
}
first it gives reading as 25 , then always gives incorrect reading 10. how can i turn off and on with correct reading as outut?

Try to touch CC2650 and see if temperature rising.

ya, i tried that. but it still on 25. when i place it near a soldering iron , it rise upto 40. but my doubt is , why its hows 25, even if room temparature is 30?
andwhy i gets incorrect reading (10) when i change code like this

The temperature sensor have +/-5c error. It's easier to test it if you have something other than 20~30 environment to see the difference

so if m sensor reading is 25 Deg C, actual reading may be between 30 and 20 right??. I have tested it near soldering iron and it rads as 40C

how can i do this: turn on , take reading and turn off. i have treid like given below but it doesnot work. it gives 10C as reading. no change.

The battery monitor is turned on during boot, so you don't need to enable that again. Also BAT_MON module is used in Flash too so it's not recommended to turn it off. This is covered in our TRM chpater 18.

You can check if there is temperature update by using this function together with getTemp
