BLE Pairing and bonding

HI TI Experts,

I want my BLE Beacon(Peripheral) to Be connected to the Smart phone(Central) only if it is paired or Bonded.It should not connect otherwise.How to get start with this.

Hello. Beacon implies that you are not connecting so we'll assume that your device is not a beacon here.

Also, you need to perform a connection in order to pair / bond.

As Tom mentioned, this is thoroughly described in the GAP Bond Mgr section of the SDG and the Bluetooth spec.

Thanks Tom Kopriva and TIM,
Tim my requirement is to change the uuid through app.For that i need to make a connection.Otherwise beacon is working as broacaster.I also want that when i try to make connection it should ask for pairing.If i enter wrong passkey then it should get disconnected.
how to add pairing before connection.

You can not pair without first connecting.
