I am Ken from KOJ electronic CO. LTD. in China. Firstly, thank you so much for your helps and suggestions to our project before! Referring to the typical application circuit in the relative instructions, we have made a PCB design about the CC2540 application. Here we have a question: how can we control the effective communication range of CC2540 application by Bluetooth signal?

Would you please give us some advices and suggestions?

    Hello Ken,

    You can control the TX power of the CC2540. Beyond that and following our guidance for antenna layout, effective range will be based on a number of factors, such as the overall link budget. Please see the sticky Range Estimator thread for more details.
