Hi,

we are developing a Cc2650 based product and we are facing the issues on supply rail and we have followed the sensor tag schematics for reference and below are my schematics.

issues are like this

if i connect 100k for reset pin then my supply rail is coming down to 1.6V
if i remove 100K resistor @ reset pin supply voltage rail stays at 3.3V.
one typical issue i am able to pogram the board with reset resistor using CCs but not able to detect this part in smart Rf studio.

please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Robert,

yeap this voltage drop is solved but we are facing a typical issue like we are able to load the code and debug using CCS but we are not able to detect the part using smart RF studio.

Hello,

can you share how did you fix it? What was the problem? I am facing a similar problem with an LSR module with CC2650 assembled on custom board. It was working right (GPIOs, ADC and bluetooth) but suddenly I noticed that the voltage dropped from 3.3V supplied from the XDS110 to 2.5 approx.

I have completely isolated the module and it still happens, even with no external resistor. I think that the module could have been damaged but still I cannot figure out how this happen, I will try to assemble a new board but I am worried about it ending in the same state after a few tests...

Hi javier,

we had some issues with schematic itself, like we had series resistor in supply which was not allowing sufficient current and mainly some GPIO pin was directly connected to supply so our part was failing now it is stable.
